Elton F. Duncan, III

Elton F. Duncan, III is admitted to the Louisiana, Texas and South Carolina Bars, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court, Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of Louisiana and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. He received his education from Tulane University (B.A., 1980; J.D., 1984).

Elton “Chip” Duncan has argued before the United States 5th Circuit Court of Appeals numerous times, including the following three (3) leading cases:

Roberts v. Cardinal Services, Inc., 266 F.3d 368 – a leading case regarding Seaman status
Ducrepont v. Baton Rouge Marine Enterprises, Inc., 877 F.2d 393 – one of the leading cases regarding vessel status
